Effective July 1, 2009, any public works project with contemplated expenditures for the completed project that do not exceed one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) are exempt from the provisions of the Nebraska Engineers and Architects Regulation Act in accordance with Neb. Rev. Stat. 81-3449 and 81-3453 and Board Policy 09.03. This amount, calculated by the cumulative percentage change in the Consumer Price Index over the last five years, will be effective through June 30, 2014.
